TRUST:
Google now requiring that little "S" in "HTTPS://"
Google loves its clients, and they want everyone to feel secure while scouring the internet for your next purchase, and so now, your website will be flagged by Google this year if you do not have an SSL Certificate.
Google will flag two-thirds of the web as unsafe within the coming months. This means if your website doesn’t have an SSL certificate, it will display a ‘Not Secure’ in the URL bar.
SSL Certificates are used for many things:
1. They encrypt sensitive information,
2. It protects you from cybercriminals,
3. Builds trust and brand power.
There are simple steps you can take, however, to secure your site. If this all sounds confusing to you, or if you don't know what to do next, we can help!
For all of our clients, we recommend using one of the two SSL encryption services.
If you're unsure about which level of encryption is right for you, we would love to talk with you!
